Sadly, not all manufacturers of high-risk power tools put their products together with full and detailed manuals. Sometimes pointing out only general characteristics and size of tools they don’t bring user’s attention to factors which shorten operational life of products.

Statistics shows that among power tools which cause personal injuries, circular saws, woodworking machines and angle grinders come first. And among injuries absolute majority is connected with usage of improper cutting tools or making unauthorized modifications.

We recommend buying only power tools with double protection. Such as Zenit™, for example, which has special identification marks in the form of two squares one inside the other. And still, with time insulation breakdown is possible, which can cause electric injuries. Form a habit to check insulation before work with metal constructions by short easy touch of metal by a powered tool.

And one more common error – don’t use extension cords with smaller section, the voltage will drop dramatically. Using a coil with cable of large section is another mistake as this coil will work as an induction coil and change the current sinusoidal wave, which will force the motor to work in heavy conditions. And this will lead to loss of power, overheating and other negative consequences. Always fully uncoil the cable and don’t leave any turns.

Abrasive disks constitute a serious danger when used by unskilled workers. Disks can have different diameters and widths. It is important to install a suitable disk in a given angle grinder. Every disk has a special marker indicating allowed rotary speed.

Following these advices can save you from dangers and increase productive capacity and lifetime of your tools. Company Demix wishes you success and good results in your work. Always remember about safety precautions.
